I believe that interior environments should not exclusively rely on the physical, the ocularcentric, or the aesthetic.

I approach the design process by analysing the host site in order to assess the sense of space in addition to understanding the specific project requirements and client culture.

Each occupant can develop their own interpretation of the designed space, merging the experience they want to live with the one I chose to give them. This coalescence makes every project unique in its essence.

The ideation process of each component and space is the combination of the functional and physical aspects of the production of space and provoking specific but different feelings in each occupant, to achieve a comprehensive phenomenological experience. I approach each project without preconceptions to achieve the best outcome possible.

Grounded in phenomenology my approach to design has been applied to create individual moods in confined spaces and specific atmospheres that unite occupants in larger spaces. Some of these spaces might link to the building externalities and some of them might be completely isolated from any external reality. The result of this is a body of varied work that delivers a comprehensive whilst adaptable design.
